Call or email several local insurance agents. Tell them directly that you want the “cheapest possible” liability insurance available. Inform them that you are doing this to save money, and that you plan to shop around. Call at least 5 agents.

Once you get the liability insurance quote from each of the insurance agents, you will probably notice that the prices vary a great deal. Make a list on your computer of EACH quote with the agent name or company next to it. Do not worry about the benefits that will be provided or details. You directly told each agent “The Cheapest”.

Email each agent the quote that you got from all the other agents that did not give you the best quote. Do not email the agent with the best price. Tell all the insurance agents that you want the best price and that they need to beat this best price if they want your business.

Allow one more set of quotes to come in. If anybody can beat the price of the first agent with the best price, email the first agent and say the name of who beat them and by how much. Deal with these two agents back and forth once or twice. Keep telling them the price of the other agent. One of them will probably give up! Go with the cheapest price!
